As in degree? Same as you computer animation, I was actually one of your classmates.

We've chatted a couple times here and there but not for too long, usually are small talks involved Sonic or Harry Potter; you actually lent me the film "Fantastic Beast and were to find them" once. It's cool if you don't remember though it was a while back and transferred earlier than I did.

Wow really?! When did you graduate?! I'm currently in Portfolio 7 and Online since March. You're soo lucky to be out already!!

That's okay, my last class was in May but I didn't have the ceremony until late June of this year so it was really recent; I had to move back home for the last month. I think our final class together might have been Character Animation, that's when hurricane Irma came through.

I was Malcolm, we've worked in a couple group presentations I think like twice. Some times I'd greet you and asked how you were doing in the morning when everyone was waiting to enter the lab room. I guess I was trying to make a friend but I could never think of anything to talk about. (Other than sonic of course since I noticed we had a common interest)

It's good to be done with school, but now I have to find a decent paying part-time job so I can earn money to hire people to help me out with any future projects I want to do, It's kinda difficult but I'll manage.

I hope your doing great in portfolio as a fellow classmate I'm rooting for you!

Oh... so the first CA for me then (I had to retake it twice...) I remember! I think I ranted pretty hard about how much Sonic and Eggman changed over the years huh? :q  Did I rant about Transformers, too..?

(lol, When in doubt, pick a show or movie that just came out and let the conversation flow from there. Trust me, I had that tactic tried and tested for a conversation starter! You'll make friends fast with that tactic!)

Wasn't the last two classes for job resumes and job searching? Did they help? Where are you now? I know there's some studios scattered around the US, but I know a big chunk is in California. Then there's the odd studio or two in Washington, Texas and Canada. France is coming into it's own for animation too.

I don't believe you ranted about Transformers, but there was plenty of talk about Eggman.

Yeah the last two classes were basically about understanding how to write a resume and what to and not to say during an interview, but those were the same kind of online only classes that takes you like 30 mins to complete the whole thing while you're doing you're main thing. I've done my final portfolio where I submitted my demo reel, for feedback didn't really get any from my classmates though.

I'm currently home, for now I'm just going to focus on making more of my own polished works and coming up with reference material. And when I feel that I have enough I'll start applying around.

What about you, what's your plan coming out of the gate?

I don't remember a class specifically for job searching however, I can guess why that may be. Even if you graduate and become an Alumni you can still call up the school and get in touch with their career development offices for support, or at least that's what all graduate were told upon the ceremony.
