Honestly, sometimes I feel down as well. But then I get to talk to and meet new people, and that reminds me that, while there are things that are beyond our power to change and control, why would we want to if we can meet new friends? I knew that meeting new people makes me feel better so I wanted to try and make you feel better the same way! I'm glad that I succeeded, and I hope we can talk more! You seem like a very nice person, and a (sadly) depressed person. Well, I'm going to try and change that just as others have changed my sadness, and then you won't have to hate yourself, or anybody else any more! I hope you have a wonderful say today!

Don't worry though; generally don't hate myself anymore. Flare's personality is just... a combination of my own insecure nature, and one that just fit with his nature and whatnot from the first game(s) that included them for pokemon (i.e. Timid, and loves to eat). And... both of those things are also my personality, so it worked out~ X3;
