THE BEASTby shadowqueen1999
Hunched in the darkness, hackles raised and shaking.
It slowly turns it's head, just enough to see the erry green glow.
In it's eyes you can a mix of emotions,
fear, sorrow, anger, and...loneliness.
You move closer.
The beast bares it's fangs, raising it's hackles more.
The beast did not want company....
What little light from the moon shined down, giving the area a erry feel.
Shinning black and brown pelt, glistening horns and glowing green eyes.
The beast is a dangerous beauty, .
One false move and the last you will see is the green glow of it's eyes.
But you take that risk only wishing to console and comfort the beautiful beast.
It opens it's mouth let out a rumbling growl and shrill hiss.
You are so close to the beast that you can see the sorrow in it's eyes.
The sorrow is laced among the greens.
You are so close that the hot breath of the beast fans over you.
Looking into it's glowing orbs you soon realize that...
the beast was you.
