Description

When Krystal returned to the control room, she found Rosemary shouting angrily. Surprised to see her friend in such a state, she hurried at her side and asked her what happened.

“The job to deliver those spare parts to the cruiser? It’s not an actual job! It’s an order from the Navy! We are ordered to deliver those parts and will face consequences if we don’t!”

Krystal blinked. “But… but… that’s not possible! It will be illegal!”

“Under normal circumstances, yes, it will,” explained Rosemary. “However, in times of an emergency, a civilian contractor can be forced to comply. And there’s a commodore in the cruiser that’s saying the mission is so important, it’s a national emergency!”

“Of course, that’s not the full story: that particular commodore is a proud guy who treats civilians so badly, nobody wants to deal with him! That’s why we are forced to do this job!”

Krystal sighed. “I see. Well, the faster we deal with this job, the better! I’ll contact Fox.”

Rosemary nodded, taking breaths to calm down. “Sure! I’ll talk with my daughters. Thankfully, we can use the Star Nomad to make the delivery in one trip!”
