When Samantha went with her father to the garden, she didn’t expect to see Stella there. However, she was quick to say hello.
“Hi, Stella!” Greeted Samantha. “Glad to see you!”
Stella smiled. “Hello, Samantha! Your father and I wanted to tell you something.”
John nodded. “That’s right. The short version is that Stella and I like each other.”
Samantha blinked. “Wait. Are you going to start a relationship? If it’s okay to ask, of course!”
“It’s fine for me,” said Stella. “Anyway, we talked each other and decided that we shouldn’t date for now.”
“That’s because we don’t know each other,” said John. “Stella and I talked a lot and decided that she’s going to visit us, as a friend, from time to time.”
“If we ever decide to take it to the next level, I’ll tell you.”
Samantha nodded. “I see. Thank you for telling me!”
