2009-09-27Emerald eyes glow a firey light
Glistening fangs pure white
Flames inside burning deepest black
Hackles raised upon the back
In the air the anger's flowing
Growls rumbling from deep within
Little fingers run through the fur
The sound becomes more like a purr
Her quiet humming quells the beast
Though the anger is slow to leave
Swallowed up inside the dark
Consumed, by Demon's heart
Once again a smile appears
Then deep in shadow the wolf disappears
The only proof of its existence
The few stray hairs left in her hands
And the girl continues on now happily
As shadows watch over her unseen
