Yet the vision seen, is not recognizable to me

A finger trails down, touched by another moving the same
A smile for the dreams born
Soft breath sighing
Closed eyes now, and cheek to cheek
Cool contact takes the heat
A smile when pained
A smile when sorrowed
A smile even when angered
A laughter when happy
Only you know the current reality
Thunder cracks outside, rain begins to fall in sheets
How the wish, to curl up with the dream
A step back, one more look
The mask covers the broken seam
Wipe away the burning memory
Fingers fall to the side
Why does it seem to repeat inside?
Turn and walk away
Face another darkened day
Only the mirror has seen
That single fallen tear
