Personality: dawn lighting is the kind of pony that cares more about others than her own self. Whenever somepony is down, she is always there to comfort them, but when she herself is down, she hides her feelings and says everything is fine. Dawn is a sweet, loving mare who loves winter, and also loves playing in the snow. It takes away any sadness settling in her mind, and puts a smile on her face. she's a little bit childish and Dawn loves having her siblings by her side.

History: after her birth, Dawn lighting's parents feared that because she was an alicorn she would be taken away, so not a few days later, they packed they bags and left canterlot for the empty countryside.
living on a farm, dawn grew up blissfully ignorant of the way other ponies viewed her Race, and the day she earned her cutie mark she tried to do a sonic rainboom, after hearing about it, and on her last try she used magic and two stars appeared at her sides after that she passed out from the over use of magic, and when she woke up her cutie mark was there, the only one who knows what happened that day is her sister, sunset melody and she refuses to talk about it.
