I honestly probably owe a very lengthy apology for how long it took me to actually upload another piece of art. I'll just say, 2020 was absolute shit. In many ways. I'm sure everyone can agree and relate. It was crap for everyone. That being said, I did actually start multiple art projects that I just couldn't bring myself to finish. This one I started earlier this morning and I decided to go with a simpler, more basic cell shaded style this time around rather than focusing so heavily on airbrushing. I do still really like my old style of course, but I'll probably alternate between the two for the future when I create again. The job I'm at now is very demanding, so I definitely can't promise frequent uploads, but my goal is to be better than last year.

I imagine the scenario for this is Atem finding Yugi somewhere with a lack of light. "Don't worry partner, I won't leave you in the dark." <3

Multiple references were used, Clip Paint Studio was used. Probably around a good 8+ hours honestly. The lineart and posing just about killed me, but I was determined.
