If I took all the color in the rainbow and hoard it away, if I stole the music from your strings encased in a vault. If the world were deprived of the scent of roses or the feel of rain on our skin, would these things sill hold their beauty?I believe all that we hold beautiful and pure must be shared to be true, or it too would wash away with time leaving a vacant memory no one else will recall.

If you twist the view of everything a little. If the world were deprived of beauty. We would find ways to describe or quite possibly force ourselves to be more creative and create new things to be admired.

It's a portrait of my girl, though I agree with your assesment, I would add that we as humans need things to measure and balance us by. Beauty regaurdless of origin, offsets the ugly which surrounds us and so forth. But none the less, I drew this to share with the world of thos who care to see, what I hold as precious and beautiful.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The word ugly is in my opinion unnecessary. XD
