I love the looks of retics but MAN do they scare the bejeezus outta me! Their attitudes just are not my cup of tea. However, I'll take a burmese any day!

Burmese are like over sized ball pythons. They just simply don't care.
I almost got a little 5 foot burm when I used to work at a petstore. I had to keep repeating to myself theygetbigtheygetbigtheygetbigtheygetbig to prevent taking him home. xD

I also have been trying to talk my husband out of getting a burm,by reminding him of their sheer size and mass. I know they can be docile as all heck,but I sure don't feel like dealing with a snake that large with all the other snakes and dogs and cats and kids we have!
