Description

This is my “Just Saw This Episode/s” meme I made up.

Anyway, I just binge watched these episodes back to back where Blue Falcon and Dynomutt guest stared in a couple of Scooby Doo shows. Both shows were Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, episodes, Heart of Evil and Scooby-Doo, Dog Wonder!.

It was great for Frank Welker to reprise his role as Dog Wonder for two occasions. One of my favorite characters.

The Heart of Evil in Mysteries Incorporated, shows that Dyno was really a cyborg as he was a real dog before being bionically enhanced by Dr Quest. The Blue Falcon played by Troy Baker in this episode was okay, though they made him out to be so brutish and savage perhaps a nod to the Frank Miller Batman. I don’t know, I had mixed feelings about that Blue Falcon being so aggressive. Besides them guest starring, this episode had some cameos and nods to classic Hanna Barbera IP Jonny Quest with it guest starring Race Bannon, Dr. Benton C. Quest, and Dr Zin as the main villain. It was a cool episode.

The next episode I saw was Scooby-Doo, Dog Wonder! on Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?. This episode has again Dyno and BF guest staring again in another Scooby Doo series. It also played like a real classic episode of the Dynomutt series perhaps even a classic crossover episode of Scooby Doo and Dynomutt. What’s cool about this episode is they casted David Kaye as Radley Crown/Blue Falcon for this episode who’s been doing some really good Gary Owens impressions (The original voice actor of Blue Falcon.). The irony here is that David Kaye who played the Beast Wars and Unicron Trilogy era Megatron is now working together with Frank Welker the classic G1 and TF Prime Megatron who plays Dynomutt, Scooby Doo, and Fred Jones. How cool is that? Anyway, in the episode they’re taking on a Medusa gorgon-like monster in a classic Scooby mystery adventure. Personally, I would’ve liked something more fantastic with a real monster or supervillain instead of the generic crook in a mask cliche mystery adventure since Scooby and the gang are teamed up with real superheroes, Dog Wonder and Blue Falcon, but it’s a good episode nonetheless despite my minor nitpick. If you’re a Dynomutt and Scooby Doo fan, you should check these episodes out.

Any way I’ll try to make this meme available as a template for you to use. And will use it to do another “I Just Saw” episode review.
