I wonder what it'd be like to stay down here forever.
No strings, no worries, just breathing my only endeavor.

To be weightless, the closest thing to flying
But then the burning in my lungs, constantly reminding

Me that it doesn't last more than a minute or two.
But I can repeat it again and again as much as I want to.

It's freedom. It's space. It's endless.
Is getting lost here such an impossible request?

I look up and see sunlight flitting through the surface to the bottom of this sea
And I'm once again reminded of the beauty that surrounds me.

I think we all need these reminders every now and again
If merely so you don't spend

Your life sinking to the floor with your griefs and stress
To enjoy this life and allow yourself to rest.

I'm not sinking anymore.
I'm soaring like I never have before.

And i'm enjoying being weightless here a few moments more.
