Description
I was working on a picture of the CMCs I suddenly had an urge to draw Dashie.Β While Rainbow Dash has to be one of my favourite ponies she takes a long time to shade with all her colours.The front legs seems a little off and I've toyed with the style of her mane a little but otherwise I really am proud of this one.Β

Yeah Dashie is definitely a fun character to draw, you can guess as I've drawn her the mostΒ xD The front leg looks fine to me, even if it's bigger, it's not by much. I'm curious though, what makes the shading so difficult for her?

It's not so much difficult as it is time consuming. Although I did have to think more about where to put the light and dark shading since each colour in her tail and mane catches the light a little differently.Β

Yeah Dashie's colours are very bright. I can see that you would have some problems with the reflections. Still looks great though!

I haven't done AJ yet either although she'll be the next one of the mane six I draw. Twilight will be last since I'm the least fond of her colour scheme.Β
