Description How can you see if your eyes have always been closed?
How can you feel through frozen tears soaking a fragile heart?
How can you hear through ears blocked with raging fear?
How can you live if you fear the very life you strive to create?

How can you reach out to others if you bind yourself?
How can you teach others when you refuse your own lessons?
How can others know you exist if you refuse the right to yourself?
How do you give a little light to others if you deny the same light?

How do you shelter others from pain when you strive to break yourself?
How can you give love when you cannot find the same inside?
How can you save others from tears when yours fall like rain?
How can you hold someone else when you rip the ground from under your feet?

If you're preoccupied with seeking, you'll never fidn what you're looking for. Your answers don't await you - they are often right where you are. Take care not to become a professional seeker. If you identify yourself as such, you'll just keep searching. You can read thousands of books, attend hundreds of seminars, ask endless questions, engage in lifelong therapy, and still find youself wondering who you're supposed to be. Seeking is fine, but finding is finer. When you're ready to find rather than seek, your answers will show up everywhere. It will speak to you through a majestic sunrise, a touch from a beloved, and the sparkling of the water. All that you seek is right here - in you. All that you seek IS you.

Some fortune cookie wisdom. Take it or leave it.

*laughs* one has to open thier eyes to the answers. They must be ready for the answers. I have come to the same conclussion myself. There is a lot of baggage to be shed in order to make way for things that are needed now. Surrendering is always the hardest part for me.

Then lift the time-laden mask from your weary face and open those eyes and surrender yourself. Nothing in life comes easy. We must take risks in order to prosper. Most of the time this risk involves pain - but there is no light without some rain. Let it fall and learn to dance in it. Hold those who make you happiest and enjoy your life. You will be surprised upon the impact it will have on those around you and yourself!

Most of my pain comes from my own thoughts of what happens, as opposed to what actually occured. Suffering happens when the mind denies what is. I keep losing sight of this. I am constantly amazed at the effect I have on others. I have learned that my happiness is My responsibility, and others should not be placed into the position. Now I am the one who is rambling. *Grins*

You may not be able to save other's tears but you can share them, and hold them as your tears fall. When the grounds ripped from beneath your feet you have to hold on to something and some one just makes the world more...real. you need to be able to reach out for those around you cling on to them as you need to and they cling back...the world moves far to fast for us not to reach out and cling to one another...how else can we feel...or make ourselves real if we don't hold another...

I understand what these words say...and usually I'd be another to say them...my life’s been an interesting 'adventure' to say the least...but for the moment I will let go of it all to keep on going...and so I can learn how to fly...and your right...I'll probably end up broken asking how and why at the end of it all...but I still want to fly even though I know I'll die...for we all do...and the strong will pick up the pieces and stumble on ward...until they can hold themselves together again and spread their wings...

Keep writing *grins* I love your writing! Such thought provoking pieces!

Indeed! I do have everything in life. I am alive and healthy, and I have friends who care. The rest is just icing on the cake, i guess.

Madam, you pay me too much. I am but a humble writer of emotions. The people who can see within these words are the truly talented ones, for they can feel with me. As always, I am humbled by your ever kind and gentle praise.
