Sever

Deep within uncharted wastelands
Nothing grows within barren sands
Cluttered with unfulfilled plans
This is where I make my stand

Autumn browns turn to Winter black
Contrasts made white with newly fallen snow
Holes will be made while flat upon my back
Swept away as the cold winds blow

Bitterly cold mixed with feverish desire
Mindlessly watching as all transpires
Filtering through those twisting spires
Fear spiked with pain, a mud to be mired

ADmired in, cutting all else away
Cherishing the sweet absence of pain
Yet these insecurities shall yet still remain
How much can we trade off, this currency be paid

Connections abolished, slaveries made free
Yet cutting in such fashion do we still be made to bleed
Emancipating proclimating procreating fees
Severing those very same things that make us fundamentally beings

Human? To ultimately strive
To feel the bliss, to feel the love of being alive
In the end of all of this, all of this must die
To break away from all connections

All of us get tied…….
