A really late 16
commission for ~Zanziabar I was either to draw Lucidious, Soul or Rayven. I decided to go for Lucidious since I liked his design the best, even tough all three look amazing.
I'm really sorry that it took so long for me to draw this. I really lost my drawing enthusiasm in the past months, so the picture was rotting away in my art folder till I finally started working on it again.
I did the shading and details (scales and wing pattern) on Tuesday and drew the BG on Wednesday.
At first the BG was supposed to be simpler but as I kept drawing I got more ideas (such as the lava waterfall and the fire creatures) and I decided to draw it all to make the picture as better as possible. ~Zanziabar really deserved it since she was so patient and hasn't even once asked me about the commission.

OMG IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! the background is brilliant! fire creatures and such, fits lucidious so well i would of never of thought of it!!! AND THE WINGS, gah u did such an awesome job with them and everything!!!! detail.... MMMMM yummy. and the fire! you got all his aspects and hard to do detail XD

You're welcome, and I'm happy you love it! It turned out to be a bit trickier than I expected after I realized how much details Lucidious has, but it was a good challenge. I always try to get all the details right.

I used brushes for some of the "fog" and the stars but the rest I managed to draw myself.

As I said, it happens to everyone, I'm so afraid of messing up that I don't draw on paper anymore, the tablet makes it easier and I get less frustrated.

My only paper problem is the sharpie, I have one of size 0.5 but it would be better if I had a 0.1 but I've never seen a black 0.1 sharpie in the shop. I can only wait and hope that they'll get thinner ones. And that my sharpie doesn't die until I get a new one since I've been using it a lot for my tattoo designs.
The legs look horrible. The new picture looks a lot better.

I can try buying the whole set, but I'm out of money right now. I spent all of my money today for a new game and my next pocket money will go for new batteries for my Wii remote and a dog collar. (go figure XD)
I honestly have no clue where the original picture is. Well... The real original picture went poof somewhere in school years ago and I seriously don't know where the copy is. Quite possible that I threw it away.
