Ooh! I totally agree!
I hate how people treat animals Especially since like you said in your reply to EchoTheWhiteWolf, they have died for us, fed us and give us love.
I've seen horses who've been abused horribly and it really makes me wonder how people can let it happen!
I am a meat eater, but I hate myself for that I'm thinking about giving it up soon but it'll be hard! Since meat based Chinese food is the best food ever!!

Back on the topic, wonderful picture, very hard hitting <3

I think youll find quieting meat easier than you think ^^
I went vegetarian cold turkey (pardon the pun) over night a year ago and havnt had any since then. Once you look up the facts, watch the videos of slaughter houses and such it sickens you to look at another burger. And now they make a lot of non-meat products that can be used like meat for in meals and it tastes wonderful! Also a lot more restaurants are starting to have vegetarian menus (at least around here) which really makes it easier
The health benefits are quite amazing as well ^^ It really does make you feel good and clean and healthy
Thank you by the way!

Well, I think animal rights is a silly thing to support....

Well that is your opinion i suppose.
I support animal rights and animal welfare fully. In my opinion, they do much more for us than another human ever will and deserve to be treated a little better than they get treated now. They feed us, cloth us, work for us, die for us, hunt for us to find other food, they give us companionship and love. They feel the same range of emotions that we do; love, hate, fear, sorrow, anger, happiness, ect. Yet are treated as if they were nothing, not even a living creature in most cases

I mostly agree with you, but unless you're a vegan you should not support animal rights. Animal rights is complete liberation of animals not just from the horrors they are forced to endure, but from all human contact. Another reason why I despise PeTA....
Animal welfare is a whole 'nother thing entirely. I fully support that, and I believe that we can eat meat as long as we work to get the slaughter animals treated properly.
Also, animal welfare focuses mainly on animal abuse, something much more important to the well being of animals than something like anti hunting.

I understand despising Peta, they make things harder for people like myself who truely do care. However, I will continue to support animal rights. And I am not vegan, I am, however, vegetarian because of animal cruelty and the way creatures are treated in the food industry. Womens rights, rights for blacks, gays, and other "minorities" did not remove them from the rest of humanity, it put them on a level playing field and made the world a better place. Why shouldnt animals have rights? Do they not deserve to be happy? Healthy? Treated with kindness and respect? And what if they dont, then why do people deserve these things? Im not against having pets, but to me a pet is a member of the family not just a "pet". And hunting wouldnt be so bad, it is a natural thing after all, but many hunters abuse there role as predator and torment the creature before hand. I do see a huge problem with pelt hunting tho. If you kill something you should use as much of it as possible and do it in the most humane way.

I agree with you as far as that animal welfare is very important. And abuse is a major and terrible problem that should be dealt with accordingly.

I agree...if we're so superior to animals or whatever why do we need to remind ourselves by harming them...

In my opinion, humans are more level with an animal then most are willing to admit or believe. And those people who harm them are the lower species.

People harm animals because that is what makes them feel superior. It's no better than beating your family really..

Very true, I think it is so stupid how some people say they don't suffer or feel pain. Ridiculous.

I agree. Anyone who has ever seen an animal, let alone had a pet can tell
