Description
In ages old, there was a calamity, the elves, dwarfs, and few humans escaped into the new world made by the gods, the elves were the first to settle, then the dwarfs, then the dragons, the kobolds and the dragonkin, and last, the humans. The elves would enslave any human they would find, and the dwarfs would remain in their mountains. The dragons and kobolds unite under one banner, and the elves establish the N ine Kingdoms, ruled by the Nine Kings.

Centuries pass and technology and magic have progressed, once bow and arrows and lances dominated warfare, now guns, swords, axes and armoured cannon rule absolute, smoke chokes the skies and the conditions of the general populace have led to the increase of demons and other, horrible beasts consuming souls. Making religion an absolute part of life, humanity is confined into small, walled villages where one rule is violated, all are executed, man, woman and child.

It is only recently, that the gates to the world of Eradain are opened.

And Mankind of Earth, walks through.
