Description
Used by the United Nations Defence Command and the Orion Arm Republic, the A3-MC4 Manticore Multi-Role Bomber is a bomber that can carry various different kinds of payloads, from that used by the Stealth Raven stealth dropship, to a full blown nuclear warhead. The Manticore is highly manoeuvrable in space due to its well-designed RCS systems, but in atmosphere the Manticore has the associated agility of a bomber of its size, being three times as large as a SF-30 Thunderwing Spacefighter.

The Manticore only requires a singular pilot, but it can have a dedicated ASI to work with the pilot, further enhancing the effectiveness of the Manticore.

Introdued just months before the Zordar Civil War, the Manticore Bomber had to go through combat trails in order to be properly integrated into the UNDC Aerospace Corps. But it had quickly proven itself within the opening months of the war, it was even used to eliminate key enemy targets without being spotted (if with the right modifications), despite its limited stealth capabilities. The Manticore Bomber doesn't have any sort of gun, instead having a combination of missiles and a variable-munitions bomb bay.
