During the late 2020s of the 21st Century, Joseph Miles established a PMC known as Milestone International Security Services, with a combination of elements of information and investigation organisations and a PMC hired for security. Milestone International Security Services has developed the reputation of assisting police officers in a city known as West, home to the headquarters of Milestone Industries. M.I.S.S was also the organisation that helped first ever power armour, which was used by the Knights, supersoldiers who fought for humanity.

During the Invader War, Milestone International Security Services fought against the Invaders, they even successfully fought against Invaders.

Over the centuries, M.I.S.S would become a major PMC organisation that helps provide law enforcement, peacekeeping and necessary protection for those who need it, even for free since their parent company provides the majority of funds.

In recent years, in 2844, Milestone International Security Services would become involved in the conflict on the world of Dasimov.
