Introduced in the year of 2851, the Xi'Va-Class Colonial Frigate was designed to be a long range, heavily armoured and moderately armed multi-role frigate, it quickly became a staple of the Zen'tekan Colonial Navy, filling the escort, patrol and independent surveillance missions it was originally intended for. The Xi'Van-Class was so successful in it's role it was also included in policing operations in pirate infested areas and anti-smuggling missions.

The Xi'Van-Class first saw combat when a Tridak Directorate frigate entered Zen'Tekan space, with the assistance of nearby SATO ships, the Tridak ship was taken care of, and now about 400 Xi'Van-Class Colonial Frigates are being sold to SATO and will be ready around 2860.

RIGHT:

A Wardroid design, pretty standard, would probably be prominently employed by the United Pacific Mandate Army Corps, SATO and the Vandar Confederacy.
