After a series of terrorist attacks from The Pantheon, with the death toll increasing day by day. The G.A.R.D had decided to dispatch as many of their Valkyrie APCs as possible. The original idea came up in the 1980s, however the idea was put off easily as the G.A.R.D was focusing on handling The Pantheon for the first time. However during the late 1990s and early 2000s the ideas was then considered and then put into action.

With the armour of the best light tanks and a medium long-range dual cannon on the dorsal surface of the vehicle the Valkyrie APC served mainly as a transport for Special Operations units and medical units after the 1980 Pantheon attacks, which were expertly hidden. The Valkyrie APC was quickly favoured by many Special operations and Medical Units for it's effectiveness on the battlefield as well as covert missions.

With increased use of the Valkyrie APC it quickly became a standard Special Operations/Medical APC for the G.A.R.D. Often escorted by other APCs or tanks. It also became an important asset in evacuations and retrieval missions.
