Commissions 2/2 for stoiske , this time it's her beautiful doe, Ravenflight. I have never played The Endless Forest before, but I am fascinated by the concept art and character design that some artists make up for their avatars. It's amazing how such a simple "game" can inspire such beauty and creativity in the minds of those who play it. Having said that, I was thrilled to take on this commission, as Ravenflight is one of my favorite characters from TEF universe.Β
This piece was an absolute challenge for me, and it was intimidating because Ravenflight has so much stunning work of her done already. It's hard to stop comparing yourself to other artists, but I'm sure we've all been there before

I believe that this piece of artwork was done with a great deal of creativity and perspective! Its very expressive and vivid with the colors yet delicate in appearance. There are some colors missing the left side of the deer creature, although, where that hoof is and the feather like extension. Though the light source in the background is supposed to have a blurred effect, I think this piece of art would be greatly helped if it was expressed a little bit more. Overall, I'd say this is quite well done! I look forward to seeing more creatively done art such as this.

This is fabulous! [Give me a moment to fan girl to it] The colors on the deer are very vivid, and it's amazing symmetricality [because that's a word] that makes it looks realistic. The eyes have a nice glow effect to them and the water looks realistic. My only complaints [or flaws] is that the flowers on the it's neck seem like they are just floating. It doesn't appear that the little flowers are resting there. Also the blurred background adds a nice mystical effect to it, however it bothers me that it doesn't really show to much. In my opinion it is to blurry, and takes away from the actual effect of the artwork. Other than that I love it

I have to say I had been waiting for this with bated breath, and the outcome is absolutely spectacular.
The way you render things is outstanding, I love the points of focus Ravenflight has; the fur details near her back and belly and the incredible focus on her face and crown.
It is just incredible, you honestly have done her so much justice. It warms my heart to hear that Ravenflight is a favored character to you. I utterly adore this, to bits.
Honestly and truly, you are ahmazing and Ravenflight looks just like I would see her.

It's gotten easier. Redbubble used to have you put stuff on a template you would then submit. Now you can just upload a PNG directly and position it on a shirt while on the website. It's mad convenient!

I gasped out loud, this is absolutely amazing! Love that feather crown and how you rendered this, really really beautiful. Would make for one amazing poster. I'm sure Stoiske will absolutely dig it!Β

Beautiful eyes, beautiful nose, beautiful lashes and whiskers. Feathers look uniform but not in that 'too uniform way.' I like the blur to her hind end as well, where the darker line hides on her right rump into a clear yet blurry detail. Water waves, flowers, definitely elegant and beautiful and a touch mysterious. Perfect pose to display her crest and draw attention to her facial features. The only thing I don't like is the slight texture over it all? Her face looks very crisp, but then the rest seems too foggy or just saturated from it, most notably her forelegs to me. I think that's personal preference though so x:

I did go a little crazy with the textures...and blurs... <__<; Thank you for the comment! I had hoped the left bottom corner (which is the texture I think you're seeing most?) would look somewhat like mist, but it's a little too sharp now that I look at it.
