would have had it up sooner, but i burned myself out on art last week before it was done. :

creature info on the pic itself since so few people actually read descriptions. the words will be bigger next time, i promise.
HEY, HAVE YOU GOT A NAME FOR IT? COMMENT WITH A NAME, AND I'LL PROBABLY USE IT BECAUSE I HATE NAMING THINGS.
a number of stupid factors went into this thing's design.
first, i wanted to draw something with a huge mouth.
and something aquatic.
i decided it would be a whale.
but i wanted to draw claws too.
i also needed to be able to fit this thing into an oddly-shaped blank space in the sketchbook.
then my natural creature-drawing instincts kicked in and THIS HAPPENED.

as for the colors, it was going to be pink and yellow at frist because it remined me of
but that's unoriginal and pink would look dumb on a water creature, which i usually color blue. SO I COMPROMISED.
PINK+BLUE=LAVENDER.
shading got slightly more complex than i . prolly because i joined a pixel art collab.
