“I fought the Homestuck and lost.”

Every now and then, I force myself to draw something ‘cute’ by normal person standards. I ended up really liking this one, and then, as usual, I got carried away in the process of digitizing it. Mainly because I recently acquired photoshop and have been messing around with its infinitely-better-than-gimp animation interface.
SO MANY LAYERS. SO MANY MANY FRAMES. 105, to be exact. it still moves like one of B/W’s battle sprites >:U non-dithered version here: [link]
I am fairly certain this took far longer than it should have…ohwellitwasworthit.

NEWFOUND RESPECT FOR ALL YOU ANIMATORS OUT THERE. YOUR PATIENCE IS AMAZING.

Gosh, I love bec noir’s design so much. So much, in fact, that I think he’s passed up Dingodile AND Bowser for being my favorite villain. Bec gets stuff DONE AND LOOKS COOL DOING IT.

Yeh, he’s acting quite a bit more like a normal dog here than usual. But hey, even though he’s a vicious killer 98% of the time, we can’t forget the simpler side of his mind; that part of him that remembers its lazier days on the island and just wants to play fetch with some bullets, teleport here and there causing mischief, or relax and have some radioactive steak.
Y’know, totally normal dog things.
