Description
It's not often, as I've said before, that I do a piece completely by hand.. this is one of the rare ones, and one of the ones I do when I want to sell something *laughs*. I drew the lineart by hand and colored it with markers (both prismacolor and tria). The end result was rather nice, though it would have been better, still, if I did it on the computer. Oh well! Practice makes perfect, in the end!Related content

Aiiiii! It's taken me such a long time to get around to commenting on your art... and I'll start with this one, since it's hanging over my bed! ^^
Being one who is learning to work with Prismacolor markers... wow. You did an awesome job with this one. I especially love the fine details in his braid and the bottom of his shoes - personally, I rather like that your lineart isn't perfectly clean. Adds character to the picture... I don't know, more of a traditional, hand-made kinda look. Same goes for the marker work itself - it's not always *exactly* inside the lines - which is good, as it doesn't look like just a printout.
But most of all... it's Chrno. I *adore* this little demon - there are no words. There just... aren't. My friend and I will be attending a con in May dressed as Chrno and Rosette (don't despair, I'm obsessive about perfecting costumes). I found the anime by accident - actually, I saw a picture of Chrno and thought: a show with bright colors and quality animation about a purple haired elf? Can't go wrong there. So I was officially addicted to the story, beginning to end - the end royally destroyed me, but... in a good way, I guess. I'm working on the manga - but it's in Japanese, so it's taking a while. I don't have the 8th volume yet, either... ack. But I digress - wonderful, incredible picture. I'm so glad to have it, and got all excited when I found it in your gallery. PLEASE keep up the wonderful work!

*giggles* Wow, that's probably the longest comment I've gotten yet! XD
Which con are you going to in May? I am going to be at Animazement... my usual con. I may have my costume there, I may not-- I have to man my art table T_T
Anyway, keep going with the manga! It gets easier the more you read it-- I had to read mine a LOT to get all I could @_@; but it becomes more and more clear the more you do it. And.. I just like it more than the anime. The anime is okay, but I don't think I really enjoy watching it except to hear my friends in the dub.
But.. I did like the ending of the anime-- well, not so much that I liked that it happened like that, but I liked how it was carried out-- it really hurt me bad. But that's a point for their side-- I couldn't get into the anime characters so much as the manga characters.
Buuuuttt anyway.... Um. yesh. stuff '-'; Glad you like my stuff! I will probably upload something new tonight, if I finish it in time...

That's exactly what it was - the ending burned to no end. I just sat there and clinged to my friend to cry for a good.... I don't know.... 30-45 minutes after the episode ended. We couldn't move. And that feeling stayed with me for about a week, I think.
And I guess it's because I saw the anime first, but I had no trouble getting into their characters. That, and Chrno has a wonderful seuiyuu (in my opinion ^^). But yes, con stuff! Animazement's my con, too - only one I've ever been to, as a matter of fact. My friend picked up this picture for me, I wasn't at the con... Neko-con, was it? I have no idea. But yes, I'll be at AZ again this year; dressed in my myriad of costumes... I'll stop by and visit your table ^^ I'm sure I'll be able to find it.

*giggles* Yay! Animazement was my first con back in.. ah.. 1999, I think, and I've gone every year since (Except for one year when I lived in Dallas). I look forward to seeing you there! I should hopefully have more art in the gallery as well, and my prints.. though sadly, I lost most of my sourcefiles when my computer died x.x; so, the prints might not be as good...
But it's great to know where my picture went! Usually my stuff in the gallery disappears and I never see it again.. OR get paid for it >_<;;;;; I hated that!!!
You can also comission me at AZ to do something for you I love drawing Chrono Crusade characters, so if you ask I'll definitely say yes XD

This is just so amazing. o.o I could never do this in a million bazillion years! I didn't even know stuff like this could be done with markers. XD I envy you very much.

I can hardly believe that this was done with markers! It is gorgeous!
In fact, I would have assumed that it was CG if you had not said something. That kind of dynamic quality can't be easy to achieve with markers. I could not have done this.
Amazed once again.

hmmm very beautiful picture. May I remind you that you own? You really do. AND you can manipulate markers? Is there anything you're not capable of doing? (I personally don't think so- you're so amazing!)

I... can't cook. At all. *sobs* I can't even make a sandwich! I suck....
Art wise, I'm not very good with 3D or anything that has to be pretty exact.. Perspective is something I'm alright with, but it needs a lot of work. I'm not very good with doing nice clean lineart...

Don't despair! You can be good at anything so long as you put your mind to it! One thing I've learned about all this art stuff is that practice helps everything
You can do it! Nothing to it! Gooooooooooooooo SHADRAD!

Oh my gosh, he looks sad ;_;
I love your drape, it looks great ^-^ And you did his shoes so well °_° (Please, don't think of me as an extremely weird person, but I keep looking at the things I can not draw at all, and shoes definitely belong into this category xD"" )
Wah, it's great!

Ah, no, I totally understand! I end up commenting on people's draped fabric a lot.. And shoes are really hard >_< They took me about as long as it took to draw the rest of it! I'm so bad at it... ;_;
But thank you for the nice comment! >w<; Yeah, he does look sad.. it was supposed to be gift art for someone, but I decided it was better to draw a more genki looking Chrono than an emo sad Chrono XD
