Okay so a while ago I got inspired by the Ben 10 Omniverse Episode, Hot Stretch, that introduced a race of tungsten aliens with intense body temperatures with the ability to stretch out their limbs to insane proportions. The show largely implies they get this ability due to their immense body heat melting and warping their bodies to give them a form of elasticity which I found super unique and interesting. It made me want to use that idea for an entire superhero so I made a design, worked on the character, lore, and powerset, and named them after the episode because it is a perfect name. They've been quite a bit of an OC project for a while that now I think is good enough to post. Now the ref already posts a summary of her but since I can put more info here I'll add the more advanced bio.

James Brightburn brilliant scientist working for Genimax with a 23 year old daughter Blake Brightburn. Blake did not inherit her father's intellect and struggles a lot with her life, and has failed multiple jobs and careers. Pretty much with no other choice, James tries to use his influence in his company to give Blake a new hopefully harmless job at the company he can keep an eye on her. The day seemingly goes well until James is called in about an extraordinary development in the G.E.L. or Genetic Enhancement Liquid, a highly experimental stem cell strain that directly affects organic materials on the molecular and genetic level. A working sample of the formula has been created and another project used it to great success creating the Thermodynamic G.E.L. which is a semi-organic rubber compound designed to change its molecular structure by generating its own heat which has limitless potential. Blake is told to wait in another room as James goes to see it. However the facility gets broken in by criminals trying to get the G.E.L. sample they can synthesize and use for the criminal world. They overwhelm security as Blake tries to hide but sees them eventually interrogating and even threatening her father, and in an act of bravery tries to stop them and take the Thermodynamic G.E.L. And Blake would get shot causing her to faint and fall off into a vat of rudimentary G.E.L. compound with the Thermodynamic G.E.L as both seep into her bloodwound. The criminal operation is botched as the group flees before the police and security can show up but not without taking the G.E.L. samples. James panics and tries to save her body as it starts to dissolve but miraculously reforms but her still unconscious. She gets taken to the medical unit on site where she comes back from a coma state, surprised she's still alive. With tests its revealed that her body absorbed the G.E.L. and the Thermodynamic G.E.L. as it assimilated to her body and change her base genetic structure. And its not long before she accidentally awakens her new powers uncontrollably generating intense body heat and warping her own body, but eventually gets it under enough control. The heads of Genimax are very concerned with loosing the Thermodynamic G.E.L. but find a perfectly integrated human test subject more than interesting. But are also very concerned with the G.E.L. formula out in the criminal underworld with its effects no doubt leading to dangerous supercriminals. Blake understands to use her powers to stop them, partially out of guilt that she couldn't stop them from getting the formula. And she's reluctantly accepted in the guise of a normal job at the facility but in secret is their effective test subject and crimefighter against villains they inadvertadly created
