Description
This is how Dark Gate Dimension started:

40 Years after Steel Cross 's exile, he started feeling a big grudge and hatred towards friendship (specially the one of Emperor Argus Kaiser and Colonel Spirit 's, that has just started) such feelings were felt by an noncorporeal Nocturne Jungle spirit, who was shortly saved by King Sombra's ghost before he was summoned by Grogar. Unaware of Grogar's existance, Sombra's ultimate demise, and feeling uncompleted, Nocturne looked for a very sinister soul, that's how he found an empty dimension, where he found and met Steel Cross , and shared his same condition to the robotic pony, in order to team up with him

Steel Cross: (anger grunt) That Emperor Argus! he and Colonel Spirit became friends? That's not the type of friends Engine Ponies deserve! Obviously, Argus doens't deserve being their ruler. That makes me feel disappointed, Furious and so eager to get his palace and leadership!

(ghostly teenage echoed voice): Curious... A robot with feelings? That interesting and pretty cool!

Steel Cross: Huh!? Who's there!?

(ghostly teenage echoed voice): Ease up, dude! I'm not here to bother you, I was just observing you, and you seemed to have potential for destruction and danger!

Steel Cross: Show yourself! Before I...

(ghostly teenage echoed voice): Alright! okay, I'll do it, but don't get scared if I materialize.

Steel Cross: Materialize? You're a ghost, a spirit, a demon, maybe a mummy, what are you?

(ghostly teenage echoed voice): You'll see it now (a black fog spiral faded in swirling and showing some foggy orbs that started to create a purple translucent ghost-shaped body, floating in the air) Ahhhh... (Evil Chuckle) Here I am!

Steel Cross: Who exactly you are, kid?

Nocturne Jungle: I'm Nocturne Jungle, I was defeated by a group of meddling ponies that defeated me when I was seeking revenge for my parents, but thank's to King Sombra's ghost, I got free from death, but I must complete my form!

Steel Cross: Sombra was definitely defeated, His pride and temerity doomed him! Even Grogar warned him, but he didn't listen, I'm afraid you can't get back to your normal form

Nocturne Jungle: Hmmm.... for being a robot, you know so much about emotions, and I have some info about evils from the past, maybe if we work together, we may become the greatest terror Equestria has ever met.

Steel Cross: Sounds good to me. But, what do you have in mind?

Nocturne Jungle: Here's the deal; Help me get my real form back with King Sombra's Sorcery Grimoire and I'll join you to make Equestria pay!

Steel Cross: (convinced) If it is for a vengance purpose, then I'll help you, Nocturne Jungle, I'm sure we'll show the whole Equestria our destructive power, kid.
