it's like what twilight did to the vampires and werewolf
the myths and legends about those "Monsters" were tottaly destroyed by that "novel"
zombies, slenderman, witches... we still have their traditional stuff and its awesome and better that way
slenderman would never use that kind of clothes, and never, never would smile while dancing because... well, first he doesnt have a mouth....
and he looks so much better ( in any way, sexy, scarier, serious) in apparently "suit", a man always looks better in a suit, showing the belly is for girls and maybe one direction
marik, whatever... at least he is wearing one and not trying to cover the world in darkness

Well, in my opinion they weren't destroyed by it. I still keep the traditional view on vampires and werewolves, so what if other people like different versions? Doesn't bother me.
And yeah, I know this scenario is out of character for Slendy, but if you're confused, go watch Concrete Giraffes on YouTube, it'll make more sense.
And anyway, if you're not fond of Slenderman being portrayed out of character then don't look at artworks that portray him that way.
