I remember seeing Jonathan in Batman:TAS and always wondering why Scarecrow always insisted on standing with his hips pushed out.

The aura looks so scary.

Beautifull work as always. Scarecrow's pose is wonderfull and expression priceless. The skull (?) in his plam reminds me of Shakespear's Hamlet. Hatter's face is simply gorgeous. He looks slightly androgonus, there is a delacate, femanin feel about his looks. So glad to see these two looking so different to the clean, pollished cartoons that The Animated Series turned them into. The pesonality of both subjects is captured here. Bravo.

I love the expressions and attitudes you've caught here. Jonathan laid back and sulky, Jervis smart and alert. The black 'n' white effect is perfect too (and links nicely to the story of the same name).
I'm a big fan of these two and would love to see more art as good as this. Half as good even.

the style on this reminds me of the ink drawings in the origional grimm's fairy tales, very fitting
p.s. I love the pairing up of these two; I think it has something to do with how their personalities manage to both clash and mesh at the same time
