Thanks man! That was real kewel of u to do that...
I know ppl steal shit and take credit for stuff
they didn't do all the time. I know I don't bother
with a signature or watermark on any of my walls.
lol They ain't worth much anyways. lol So what are
u working on right now? U should do some team one's.
I can tell u like Alpha Flight alot. Kinda shitty
how they were killed off thou. I thought Omega Flight
was good, but Bete Ray was never "offically" on the
team and USAgent is now an Avengers agin...

They still got plenty of surviving members with
Snowbird, Diamon Lil, Box aka Madison Jeffries,
Northstar & Aurora. They should remake the series...

I know what you mean about the stealing. I recently joined up, right? so I was just playing it safe. Now, I figure since I have the drawings up on some other websites for previews, they'll get "stolen" anyways, but at least I'll have the evidence that it's mine.

About Alpha Flight, well I'm an okay fan. I did the Northstar and Aurora as a comission and Shaman was done for a modder (me and a bunch of other down at marvelmods.com mod X-Men Legends 2/ Marvel Ultimate Alliance). The only Alpha Flight members I actually like a lot are Aurora, Northstar and Snowbird. And maybe Sasquatch to an extent. I'll definitely think on doing team drawings in the future. Thanks for suggesting!

I know the UK heroes could use some loving! lol
Like Captain Britian or Union Jack & Spitfire.
I know they have the Captain Britian & MI13 comic
which I really like! They are as close as I've
ever seen to them having the UK/Excalibur team
I've always wanted...Captain Britian, Black Knight,
Spitfire, Pete Wisdom, Meggan...I'd throw in Psylocke
Captain Britian's sister, Lionheart, Union Jack
& Albion (The Original from Knights of The Pendragon series)
not that wannabe alternate reality Captain Britian!
Or u could throw in some more ppl like Micromax, Dark
Angel, Death's Head II, Killpower and Motormouth...have
2 teams like X-Men & The Avengers.

A comeback with the Midnight Sons would rock too!
Another underrated and underused team...except along
with both Ghost Riders, Blade, Doctor Strange & Vengeance
I would throw in Werewolf By Night & The Gargoyle from
the Defenders...

The Defenders...Nighthawk, The Hulk, Valkyrie, Hellcat,
Starlight (replacing Silver Surfer), Devilslayer &
Gargoyale if he's not on the Midnight Sons team...

I wish Marvel would get their act together and do something
with the teams they have left behind...they have been good
to revamp individuals heroes like Moon Knight (who would also
be perfect for the Midnight Sons team!).

U should work in comics dude, is that your end goal? Or is this just a hobby u do for fun?

A little bit of both,actually .

I love drawing comic books stuff, and I really do dream of joining some comic industry, but sometimes I feel it's too good a dream to come true. I mean, how do I even contact them in the first place? See, a lot of such questions jump into my mind and demoralize me further!
Thanks for the compliment, though, and if you know any comic creators, let them know about me

As for the teams, lessee If I can manage to pull them off.

I know going to the local Comicon/Convention might be a good
way to meet ppl in the business. Maybe u could send a link to
your deviant art page to the different comic companys? There
are artist on here from all the companys, BIG, small and newbies... In my opinion your more than worthy!

See, there lies the problem: where I live (Bangladesh!) people hardly read comics! You couldn't find ONE comic book store in the entire country even if your life depended on it. I get all my comics from Thailand, Germany and Malaysia because I visit those places a lot.

But sending a link of my page to the companies? hmmm... might work. BUT after I've updated it a bit more with better drawings, heh heh. Thanks for the ideas and being there to help!

Another good way to get yourself out there is the Comic
Book Forums aka CBR. Speciafically the Yabs section. Ppl
in the comic book industry hang out there like Gail Simone
for one. Just start a thread with your art. How u start a
thread I do not remember...lol It's complicated and I had
to ask for help but it's been a long while so I forgot. lol

And why the hell do u live in Bangladesh?! lol Is that where
u are from? Or are u in military?

lol, that's where I'm from BUT my dad was in the army as well - the Bangladeshi one

I am a member of CBR, though I've been kinda inactive of late due to some exams I was going through. Good suggestion. Maybe I'll give it a go!

U know, I always wanted to go to the orient...I'm quite fond of asian women. Not to mention that women here in america got
"attitudes" and are full of themselves. Women in europe and asia as well as other countries are better educated, more repectful, hard working and loyal. Not to say that there aren't exceptions on both sides of the spectrum. I have this one older guy at work Dennys aka "The Menace" that is trying to get me to go to asia to meet Korean women, cuz asian women likey them white boys! lol Asian women here have TOO
many options...lol I dunno, I was already planning on a
trip to europe in 3-4 years. I was gonna see the UK, Ireland,
Scottland & Germany. All but Scottland I share ancestry with. If I could I'd go to asia next. Hell, if I could I'd see the
world! That is my dream. But I's a poor man...lol So unless
I run into some money somehow someway NOT gonna happen. What
about u? U ever travel anywhere? I have been to Canada. When
I was a kid...I like it there actually. I had thought about
moving to Ireland, but I dunno if there are availiable jobs.
I don't like the direction my country is going, which it has
been going for a longtime. I love Obama, but even a great man like him I dunno if he can make enough of an impact to change things? This country SHOULD have had better education and free healthcare for all a longtime ago.

Yeah. I travel a lot, actually. I make yearly trips to Thailand and I go to India every 3 months (we've got relatives there). Every two years or so, me and my family go to Europe. I guess we like living life to the fullest. The funny thing, though, is that we've never bothered to go explore the Americas! Hell, I even applied to colleges everywhere (i.e. the UK, Malaysia and Australia) BUT America! Ah well.

And trust me, if you're looking to visit Asia in hopes of scoring with chicks, you'll have better luck in a place like Korea or Thailand, because women out here, despite being pretty vocal, fun and outgoing, are at their cores pretty conservative. Same applies to Pakistan and India.

themightyjbowski In reply to Shafcrawler [2009-06-23 11:16:34 +0000 UTC]

Wow, that must be nice to be able to travel like that!
I honestly think that if more americans could travel and
see the world that they may appreciate more what they
have. I think long ago ppl used to do that...their parents
would kick'em out of the house and tell them to go find
their place in the world. lol A bit harsh, but surely
a little bit of travel would do a soul some good.

Yeah, I knew India would be hard to meet a chick. Pakistan
never even entered my mind...lol But I like all types of
women, I ain't picky in that regard. Moreso with their
personality.

When I was younger, I should have saved better and taken
a road trip thru america, but I didn't wanna go at it alone.

Travelling alone is never fun. I've always gone with family. Mostly with my mum and sis. My dad doesn't have much free time with work. Who knows, maybe in a few years I'll end up like him. Which is why I'm glad I've visited the places I have in my youth!

Especially if your art becomes in high demand!
But artists do tend to travel too. Especially if
u are making an appearance at a comic book convention.
