really diggin' the mixtures of warms on the right side of the piece man. Also lovin' how you made the steps. Got wood.
I'm thinkin' you can definitely orchestrate some hint of cast shadows to tie in the trees with the foreground and cast that staff onto his body.
the form shadow of the staff may be on the bright side tho (I think there was a good quote by James Gurney where he says that a black object in light is actually a brighter value than newspaper or any other white object in shadow). pretty solid on the manual texturing tho man.

yeah i completely forgot the staff i was going to but i ended up just getting sick of this one so i left it as it was. man i wish i had time to just sit down and do studies
