My uber-last minute contest entry for 's fursona contest... This deviant is really awesome and deserves more exposure! Go forth and view her gallery, if you haven't. :3

I like designing characters. :U

The contest states that we can create an original species... So I pulled out this really old species I've had for quite some time, and used it. c: This here, is a Lemphyr. I've always liked this species, but I never really found a chance to use them.

It's a weird-ish blend of rabbit+cat+lion thing that climbs trees and glides over short distances, with help of their ears. ^^

Oh, and some important things I forgot to note:

-A Lemphyr's ears usually flop down when not in use because of their immense size, unlike this picture. (Just pretend air is blowing from below or something... xD) Their ears are usually the length of their bodies.

-Their hind feet are strong and bunny-like, to help propel themselves from branches.

-They can come in any blend of brown, black, orange, green or grey shade, to help camouflage in the trees. White Lemphyrs are very rare.

So there you go. I hope this wins or something. 8D
