I think she's going to say no to his offer.

Well he does murder a bunch of her teammates, possibly her friends and betray all the ideals she holds dear. So I would hope so.

I think it could be quite interesting even if there was no love involved.

I love how Wesker has those soul-piercing eyes that seems to stop a person dead in their tracts. Like Jill here even though she like all "oh hell no!"

You did an awesome job at his expression here and his pose. His body language definitely shows that he's a predator and not someone to mess around with.

I think something they forgot with later installments is that Wesker should be scary. He should be at least as horrifiying as the monsters because he isn't any different than they are except he has malicious intent on top of being willing to tear someone apart.

Thank you, exactly what I was going for

electroGARDEN In reply to Shakahnna [2010-12-09 03:26:02 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, Wesker should definitely be scary. He's badass. But he's also supposed to be like a boogey man. At least to me. Predatorial and sinister. He's conniving, manipulative, and enjoys it so damn much (that could be the reason for the badass factor, but I think that could also be the shades he wears).

Oh man, it's "tracks" not "tracts". I'm totally rusty at my grammer now that I look back- Well, it could work, "Wesker's eyes are so scary, they could make a person lose control of their digestive tract".

Shakahnna In reply to electroGARDEN [2010-12-12 21:29:50 +0000 UTC]

That is the perfect sentiment I think like he should be the Boogeyman I am so very with you there. Even if not pleasure he should take satisfaction in it. Someone so blunted that he doesn't have the same emotions that regular people do.

Don't worry about that . Yeah the glowing red should definitely have been something they saved only for a boss fight where he creamed you. Shame there wasn't just an escape!escape!escape! type level with him just hunting you down.

Oh! That would have been so freaking cool to have a part in the game where he's intent on killing you right there and you have to runaway. I've been watching people play games like Fatal Frame and Clock Tower series and something like a cross between running away from him and prompts (some like from Resident Evil 3 with Nemesis where you choose different paths and from Resident Evil 4 where you press buttons) to dodge his attacks. Either have that as a part of the of game or where he stalks you boogeyman style like what Nemesis does in Resident Evil 3.

The worst thing is that they did have a very brief chase section but it wasn't with Wesker. It just didn't make any sense at all like they really needed to have one of those times where you could do no damage so if he got you then that was pretty much it. Would have been absolutely terrifying especially if they did it Nemesis style. Like you can knock him down but only for so long and then he's right back up stalking you again. Would have been amazing.

electroGARDEN In reply to Shakahnna [2010-12-17 05:22:00 +0000 UTC]

Oh hell yeah. That would up the scare factor there.

Too bad it wasn't with Wesker. I bet there would a myrad of instant death kills he could perform if you don't get away from him.

Another thing I loved about RE: Nemesis is that Nemesis would have different locations he would be popping out from depending on where you go or what you do first. I remember all the times when I would jump because Nemesis came when I least expected him, too.

I know like that was something I really wished that we had gotten to see. Lost in Nightmares definitely did one thing very right which it was very nice to see but don't want to spoil anything. RE5 could have gone so right but just missed out on allot of good opportunities.

Oh yeah like especially when you are at that point where you are playing allot but don't quite know everything off by heart yet so you'll be running through an area quite the thing and then HE IS THERE. Nemesis scared about seven shades of shit outta me when I was younger. I think he's probably still the most scary monsters.

electroGARDEN In reply to Shakahnna [2010-12-20 02:39:19 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, and having that in a game with such a vast environment to run around in while fighting off those ganados would have made RE5 even more badass.

Nemesis is awesome! And frightening of course! He got some basic intelligence, like a mind of a five year old, so that gives him an edge when he's out to hunt down his victims. Oh boy, I still jump at certain parts of Resident Evil 3 when he pops up.

Depends on the age on which you are given immortality. Sucks if you are under the age of 21. xD
And yeah... Wesker can not be trusted. =3=

That text in the Artist's Comment...I love you. ;AAAAAAAAAAA; Someone FINALLY gets their relationship down correctly <333333

I LOVE the poses, and the expressions, especially the expressions <3333 I love Jill's uneasy and hateful expression, as well as Wesker's evil-looking one. It fits the mood so well. This is just awesome, Shak. It makes me happy that someone can get the mood and feeling of their relationship <333333333333333

Regardless of who I pair Wesker up with, I never change how I write him. Like he is always a sociopath and plenty of aspects to a relationship more than love. Hard to imagine him even being capable but I do like these two together. Just maybe not what a conventional idea of romance is.

Twistazoomalark In reply to Shakahnna [2010-04-16 01:52:00 +0000 UTC]

That's exactly why I love you, milady. You're one of the very few people who can seem to pair up Wesker AND still get his personality right. Wesker, no matter what anyone really says, to me, cannot truly love. He can ACT like he cares, but in reality, you're just a pawn to him in the end. That's why we all love Wesker; he's such an asshole that you love to hate, and hate to love. I know, but likewise.

See, that's why I love you. You're steeped in writing/drawing fiction of a deeply sexual nature towards a villain - but you DON'T try and turn them into some simpering woobie.

<3

Shakahnna In reply to Rythmear [2010-04-12 02:04:31 +0000 UTC]

Well I'm very happily married so I get all the love I need here. Don't need any kinda outlet for that.

Surely if you want someone capable of love, you don't play about with a sociopath. And if you wanted someone without balls, you get a female . Like I enjoy Wesker as a villian. You bring something pure like love into the equation then it's possible he could be redeamed. That man is not gonna be saved.
