There can be no Queen.For Alexia Ashford - Loss
In the aftermath of her battle with the Other and his human underling, she had retreated into her cocoon.
Here, she was safe from the chaos that still raged within her hive. Though she had ascended to a level of being beyond such puerile concerns as physical comfort, there was consolation in the warm embrace at the centre of her domain. This was a place of safety, hidden from the eyes and probing explorations of the interlopers to her home. She regenerated her wounds - the scarring across her lips where she had been struck by the Other's hand, the pockmarks that riddled her torso, the withered f.
Originally I wanted to have Alfred somewhere in the picture as well to along with the theme of loss but in the end I hope Alexia's face say it better. That last moment of rage before her humanity disappears entirely.

Thank you, I do think it might be one of my best. Been in quite a Code Veronica frame of mind lately so perhaps I'll draw some more of her. She's definitely part of what made that game so great.

Yes, both her and Alfred really brought something more out into the game. I think Alexia was the first Resident Evil boss monster to actually have intelligence. It started a change in the game (not the game itself, just the virus outbreaks and conflicts) for the protagonists and now you're fighting against something that not only is superhumanly strong, but now they have smarts. Nemesis and Mr. X almost did this, but they still had limited ammount of intelligence (like who to go after, what they're looking for, and how to operate a rocket launcher). Alexia was a freaking genius and ambitious.
For me, I've been in a sort of Resident Evil 4 frame of mind again with some parts of Resident Evi 5. Mainly it's been Resident Evil 3.5 as its going to be a backdrop of a couple of new characters that I created. I just gotta start on the concept art. It's freaking difficult for these two new ones. >.>

yeah, in games and movies male Monsters are much more common, it is actually odd, because there are more female monsters in stories and mythology... I really hope we would see more female monsters in games, it's good that someone draws those monsters! for this, I must thank you milady...
me? well, I've been so so... nothing really happening, and depressed out of my mind, it'll pass, though... currently I've been having these strange things happening, it seems someone is always pointing out that I look like Alex from a Clockwork Orange, I personally don't see the resemblance and don't even know about the movie (yes, I haven't seen it)... I really don't know what makes people see him in me... phew, sometimes I even wonder if I should feel a bit insulted about it... but it's mainly odd... but, how have you been? it sure has been ages!...

Yeah I think everyone regardless of where they were brought up would recognize Medusa if shown her. Just because she is the most prominent one that comes to mind. I really, really like female monsters especially ones that don't just look like a regular woman but with different coloured skin. Actually have you played Forbidden Siren? It has ALLOT of very good monster designs which I definitely think you would like. The gameplay is quite difficult to get used to though since the sight jacking definitely could use a fine tunning.
I was uber sick for a little while but it's gone now and am back on track now. Sounds not so swell at your end though

yes, I actually have played Forbidden siren, but I actually didn't really like it... I really don't know why, actually... well, I like many types of Female monsters, sadly we see them rarely! heh! in Castlevania you see many of them, actually, fro mythology and theology.
you were sick again? that is terrible milady, forgive me for burdening you with my slight depression then... its nothing bad, I'm just so tired of this whole country and its people... been for years now... and about the movie, same here, I really don't like movies where rape scene is made funny... haven't seen it, and aren't interested in seeing it actually... it just keeps popping up in my life, and it is quite common for people to see something about this alex person in me... just recently I was told not to sing "singing in the rain" because of that!... (yes, it's getting rather weird)... well, that isn't actually a problem, just odd...

AHHH! I think I said in the note but well I have actually played the first Castlevania game now. I absolutely cannot say just how much I love Death's level. Like it was fantastically macabre and it's really amazing just how ingenious the developers were. Am definitely looking forward to playing the rest of the series. The giant crying statue was amazing and when you come to life out of the mirror? Ugh it made me hurt. Can see why that game has such a huge following.
Shh don't say that, like I asked because I wanted to know how you were. Like I am well taken care of. It does seem to be something that has given you a hard time for such a long time, just seems so unneccessary and you are such a sweetheart I don't know how anyone could find it any other way.
Yeah that kinda stuff just it's not entertainment. Seems like you aren't going to be shaking that for awhile though but if it's silly best ignored I think.

well, good that you liked it! just to note you, if you ever happen to play even older Castlevanias than Chronicle, prepare yopurself for they are really hard! Castlevania 3 is a game where over 90 % of players never play through, it is insanely hard... the 2D castlevanais are better than 3D ones, in my point of witev, but do give then a try if you happen to find them...
well, people don't really come and say anything to me, for I seem to have this aura that scares others, but I'm just so tired of seeing idiots who try to make the life of others misrable, if nothing else, then they shout insults to old people, so I'd say my home country is filled with cowards, like really, you simply cannot have a fair fist fight with anyone anymore, some cowardly shit head always resorsts to bring friends to a fight or has weapons... like, c'mon people! that takes the fun out of fighting!... world is filled with wussies, and that is depressing...
well, though I'm not really interested in seeing it, it really seems I have to, or it will never leave me alone. and besides I want to know who is this Alex everyone keeps referring me to...

I don't mind so much something being difficult. Like *weskerian and I have been playing games our whole lives so we generally burn through things quite quickly and we generally compliment each other quite well 
Well I guess there is allot of that going around sir, that much is true. But there are always good people doing good things as well. Like just have to look at those people and try and do things like them and it definitely helps. When you get to see people doing really ace things, definitely improves your world view. Is good to be around people who are doing the sort of thing you respect and like in people.

I think she was one of my favourites in the series. Not quite as scary as Wesker and definitely not as much as Nemesis but she had a charm to her in Type 1 that was especially unique. Thank you so much milady

I really am completely blown away by this sweetheart, like, it's amazing. I think this is definitely the best one of those front covers you've done for me; the detail is absolutely stunning.
The veins add a real nice touch to the whole picture, the shading is perfect and the textures used on the head are superb. The simplicity of the background adds a lot, I think, and that mound underneath her looks fucking gross.
Very well done my love, thank you for yet another worthy and wonderful tribute.
