Description Here's my final character (for now). He's featured in "Battle in the Forest" and "Canyon King". I know it's not much of a ref, but it's basic and shows you what you need. As I've mentioned (I think) I've started somewhat of a book about him, but I doubt I'll get that far with it. (I only have the first chapter done and it's not all that long.) Anyway, he's some sort of Arabian/Paso Fino cross it looks like? I dunno.

Photoshop and tablet, as usual. Guestimation between 3 and 5 hours?

Once I learned of the existence of this color (black chestnut), I just had to make a character with it. (And voila, Lakoum!)

It's lovely! I love the way his mane is kind of blowing back, like he's standing in the wind, and his head is beautiful!

I was actually torn between having his mane blowing or just laying on his neck, but I realized you couldn't see all that neat muscling if I had it on his neck.
