I was wondering how you managed scratch the different grayscals in your work.

Just different levels of pressure. The lighter the pressure, the darker the values.

When I was a kid, we scratched at school but what I can remember I could not see different kind of gray. But it is maybe other sort of scratching. We painted a blackish kind of stuff on a paper and than scratched something out of it.
Donβt know if it is the same kind of scratching method.
I really are impressed by your work

Yes, that's the same exact method. It's only "gray" because the white underneath is slightly showing through. There is only the white underneath and the black on top--there are no other colors or layers underneath.

It really looks so good. Never thought that the method they have learned us could come out this nice. Of course practice is necessary. π±ππΌπ

So impressive! Do you also put different layers on before you scratch?

Thank you! Nope, it's only the white clay underneath with the black ink on top.
