The extended cut edition added some closure(which was my main issue with the original ending. It had no closure) so that version was acceptable. But I still feel like it should've been much better, especially considering that it was the conclusion to such an amazing seriesΒ

Oooh, I can understand that difficulty. Β I can't imagine how frustrating finishing it without the extended cut would be. Β I guess I didn't have to deal with that issue. Β But - call me crazy - I absolutely loved the understated quality of the ending.

There are certainly good things about the ending, like how you had options besides just destroying the reapers, and the music that played during it. I just feel like it could've been executed much better. They could even have had all the same concepts for the ending and still made it fantastic if they had better execution. So even though I don't hate the ending anymore, I still feel a bit let down. I actually kinda envy you to be honest. I would love to be able to find the ending beautiful and brilliant.Β
