That statue of the rocks and the rive valley makes this scene remind me of "The Two Towers" movie from Lord of The Rings.

Well, in a sense that's being done all the time. Namely concept art is used to create worlds/objects/characters that are then used in a film/game etc.

Yeah, I'm a dev and also a big fan of J-RPGs and their concept art, I sure know that ^^ I meant, it would be great if by some magic I could just "dive" into this scenery, or instantly generate an explorable game environment from what I see.
It's impossible I know, but, yeah, I so wish it could be possible ^^

Artworks can be turned into games, it just takes a bit of dedication. With that, you could recreate this entire piece of scenery in something like the Source Engine.

I meant in a magical way, instantly being able to dive in this scenery. Like instantly generating a game or something. Impossible I know, but I can't help but wish for something like that ^^ I just know the astounding amount of time it takes to create a full-fledged game (even if you borrow some engine), that's why it would be great if magic existed, heh
By the way, I really want to create a full-fledged RPG game with ponies. I always wish the day some AAA game will come out, comissioned by Hasbro and developed by a studio like Bethesda (hey, I can dream), but as it doesn't seem like it's happening, I really want to make my own.
But yeah, time... time... TIME! XD
As for the engine, maybe the Unreal engine would be a great idea. When I see games like Tera or Blade & Soul... that's the kind of beautiful environments I want to create.
