It seems this altar/shrine has been abandoned by a long time, or at least, isn't popular/reachable for common ponies.

Breathtaking piece, with that gust of wind brushing the snow of the pedestal as flags wave towards the direction the clouds move. Light shines on the monument bringing back the memories as the anthem is heard in the distance. A memoir to different times.

I must admit, recently I've found your art has become samey (no offense, your art is always of the highest quality) but this one really stands out. Awesome piece!

Nah, you are absolutely correct. Drawing the same subject matter with similar compositions using similar colours often yields samey pieces. It's just incredibly hard for me to break away from my comfort zone and try something new. Thank you, though - had a blast with this one!

So the Lunar Revolution is almost at hand hoof? It's a gorgeous and inspiring piece, with such a grand plinth from where Extreme Princess Luna can launch her next strike against her sister's tyranny. Gorgeous work on the Princess, and nice job on the NMM armor too. Her pose is quite majestic, especially backed up by her banners and the columns. Gorgeous work on the mountain scenery and angry clouds as they dust the stage on this frosty day. All driven by the winds of change. Awesome work.
