It's true that we all wear masks and we have our reasons why we wear them too.Lil Shami is always told to put her happy face on. Well world she finally has one and will wear it to hide that sadness people can't stand. But I have to say it's very easy to say "put your happy face on" but not so easy to do.
Someone can smile but only you can see if the smile is genuine or fake. I try to make Lil Shami happy but she will only be happy if she truly feels happy. If the situation calls for it, if her heart agrees with it then you'll see her happy.

I was concidering doing a similar themed piece as part of the body of work. -- using the idea of cover up's and the various layes of what we see. What we allow ourselves to see.
