Here's what I think: If you look at the textures, there's Bendy on the soup. So it has to be at least part ink, part soup. Or else why would Bendy - an ink demon/cartoon thing - be able to actually eat it? I know, ink can be expired.. But ink IS a liquid. By science it should either harden or turn to gas. Since it wasn't hot enough from being abandoned, the soup part should've became chunky, along with the ink. And what if Henry didn't actually eat the ink part? Because he knew it was partly ink!
Wait I should stop I think my theory is like the game theorists... It's messy.. Ok I'll stop.

lol, it's okay. It is cannon that there is ink in the soup. It doesn't explain how 30 year old soup is still edible to him somehow and it is still a running question. Then again, it is still nice there is a consistent healing item in the game.
Personally, I always thought the ink was mixed into the broth of the soup.
