I came across a photo of Kamaladevi's basis locomotive with the caption "Lone survivor" while browsing through the Kalka-Shimla Railways' photo collection. For a short moment, I thought about Kailashnath and Kushmanda, Kamaladevi's siblings. Since they were both decreased, so that means Kamaladevi was the only survivor of the class basis who is still alive on the railway. It's tragic that she lost both of them quickly after arriving at the railway in the previous years.
