Again following SaTaNiA 's tutorial found here: Tutorial - Portals FlamesI keep having trouble using plugins, so I had to use blur_square instead. I think it turned out pretty damn good.

i used to follow some tutorials just to get the hang of a few things but yeah, that's one way of learning quickly!

I tend to be too focused, for instance it would have taken me forever to even think to use negative values. That's what I like about his and ChaosFissure 's and others tutorials. They help me start thinking outside of the rendering box.
