A simple render..life against adversity and hat sort of thing! Like the glow effect and the hazing I applied! Have been following some tutorials and this is my first attempt!Thanks for looking!

Nice concept and lovely tones. May I suggest you to expand the background (in order to place the tree according to the rule of thirds), a square canvas would be perfect (I'm a square freak!). And what about showing the roots and all the geological ages, like the section of a real ground? There could even be a skeleton!
Looking through your gallery was an amazing art experience, you're a talented and dedicated artist. You should definitely make a living from your works!
