Awesome! I'm always amazed what I see when I look for Lovecraft's work on the Old Ones. Azathoth is my favorite among them. Though, I think it odd his name in one version of the Necronomicon was spelled 'Azagthoth'. Never sure if that was a misprint or if it were intended. He looks huge as I'd expect and just as willing to devour everything with his maw. If man is to ever look to the stars and see this in orbit I'm sure we would all be driven to madness!

they are beyond such human terms of good and evil.
they act in a manner that no human could begin to comprehend without falling into an insanity induced by releasing that we are so small and pointless in a cold uncaring universe.
Mankind is a young creature. Even on earth, there are countless other creatures that predate him. Being young, he has the foolish fantasy that
he is the master of the universe, the lord of his dominion, the pinnacle of existence.
As with the young everywhere, he will be disabused of this foolishness. There are entities outside human ken that would look on this foolishness
and put him into his proper place. Beyond time and space dwell a myriad of beings and concepts that would shatter man's fragile psyche, both
individually and collectively.

Very nice stuff again Shane! You are nailing these images! Have you ever seen anywork by Greg Martin? HE has a few tutorials for things like creating star fields, Planets and Nebulea! It's very inspiring work and nice and easy tutorials to follow! Give him a search on google and you should find him no problem. Thanks for sharing
