I actually meant to upload this weeks ago, but forgot about it up until now... X3 Silly me... So you all probably remember one of my classic artworks right here ( biglittlesqueeboydl.deviantart… ), right? And how I randomly gave the girl figure in it a name? Well, after thinking over more of a personality for her, I came up with a very compelling and emotional one that I think would make her a brilliant character! Just take a note here, her bio takes place in an alternate historical timeline having to do with a movie idea I have, in which she is centrally involved... Here is her bio right below:

Valeriya Leskov was born in a small, quiet town during the Stalin-era Soviet Union in the late May of 1945, mere weeks after the USSR had defeated Germany in World War 2. The town still abided by most Soviet governmental implementations, but generally went silently unnoticed by the government. This made it a perfect cover for her parents, who were purist Marxists trying to secretly keep the word of real communism alive during Stalin's reign of totalitarian tyranny and obstruction. Her father had once known Vladmir Lenin, the first leader of the Soviet Union, as a very good friend, and was at one point the only person alive who, with his own eyes, saw Stalin poison Lenin in his sleep so he could rise to power. When Valeriya was but a mere 3 years old, still wearing diapers and about to begin toilet training, her parents were arrested and executed by Stalin's secret police, who had finally tracked them down. Valeriya was left scarred and orphaned by the event, for she had actually witnessed it herself, as it happened. The police would have killed her too if she didn't hide under the floorboard workings so well. The police figured she would eventually die of fatigue and absence of parental care on her own, and left the house to rot. Valeriya had managed to salvage the only book that the police didn't destroy when they stormed her home, which her father clung to very closely and desperately. She had quickly taken it with her after it flew out of her father's hands as he was being mercilessly shot down. It was an original, Russian-printed copy of the Communist Manifesto, written unabridged and unadulterated by Karl Marx himself. Valeriya didn't know what it was at the time, but she swore to hold it close and never let it get into the wrong hands. She would read it later once she knew how to. Since then, she has been on the run in several places of the Soviet Union, having eventually developed an expert talent in both hiding and thieving, both of which aided her greatly in her survival. She never bothered to toilet train herself, as she felt, at her feeble young age, and considering the mortifying horrors she had witnessed at the hands of Stalin's drones, they were the only thing left of her early childhood that gave her a sense of security and comfort, something she could no longer receive from her parents. She picked up on the act of both changing and washing her own diapers on her own. There were a lot of things she had to learn on her own. But she had the will to learn, for she knew she needed to learn as much as she can in order to stay alive.

We see here in this image at age 6, still on the run and still willing to learn whatever she needs to in order to survive. The only things she carries with her at all times are her dolly, Nika, her five interchangeable and washable cloth diapers, and the sacred Marx-written copy of the Communist Manifesto. As you can well imagine, her years of running and hiding and thieving have led to her feeling quite scared... rather hunted... so alone. Nika was not enough company for her at times, and what she longed for more than anything in the whole world was someone who would love her and care for her... or, in the very least, a friend...
