I read this a while ago and agreed, and decided I would come back to it when I had a witty retort to add to it, because it needs to be acknowledged that 'YES' Vader was very whiny as a Jedi.. I just never came up with anything... but yeah. Episodes 1 - 3 were very weak sauce in a lot of shit.. most of all the representation of what should have been an epic character...

Yeah I think if the script had some balls attached to it at all it would have not been such a let down. I really disliked Episode 2 the most of all.

Vader : What of Padme?
Emperor : She is no more my apprentice.
Vader : But Master I wanted to save her....
Emperor : Yes you did, but aren't we pass that now?
Vader : Yes Master what is your bidding?
Emperor : Prepare there is much to do.

With that it would have shown Vader crumbling under the weight of the Emperor, rather than a scream of Nooooooo that we got at the end of 3. Yeah weak sauce all around.

Man... I was always rooting for Vader. He was just trying to bring order to the galaxy, and he would'a done it if it hadn't been for those jerk rebels kicking the system.
