challenge no. 99- Solitudewow...I'm very proud of this one... first time I saw this picture I wanted to draw it but I wasn't even near pencil-powerful
to do so... now I had some trouble with her face(s) because it's a lot smaller than what I usualy draw...but in the end I like it...I love Jennifer Connely,and I love that constant melancholy in her eyes...

I think you did a great job Tena because you had to draw her face and body twice and at different angles .. I think that would be so hard to do and get it right .. at least for me anyways! Now I could probably do a pretty good job if it was stick people we were talking about here .. but not so ..

Jennifer is an actor, as a child she was in Labyrinth with Dawid Bowie, I believe her most popular movie is Requiem for a Dream and newest one House of Sand and Fog (if not the newest, than one of the newest)

Believe me, I can't do anything like what you do, although I have always wished to. I bought a book to help me, and it says practice by drawing skeletons at first, so my husband has been giving me weird looks about my drawings of late...! But suprisingly, it has really helped my proportions.
Bah! enough of my ramblings! I hope to see something new from you soon

omg... I tried to work that way...first skeletons and stuff... but it didn't quite work for me... It just made me lose my nervs

lol... i admit it doesn't help at all with the face, but i have been having a lot of trouble with anatomy porportions (the biggest problem from switching from manga to realistic). I've found that this technique really helps. I have a journal entry about it under education, if you're interested in the book...

It seems to be a very hard composition to draw, but the image is very intresting. I like the fat that it's possible to see her face in two different positions. You made an excellent work on the shading.
